Why Sam Is Running

A Leader Who Serves.  A Voice That Listens.
A Commitment to Trigg County

Sam Carter has spent his life serving Trigg County with integrity, commitment, and a no-nonsense approach to leadership.  His dedication to our community goes far beyond titles--it's proven through his actions, the improvements he's helped make, and the values he stands firmly behind.

As the President of the Trigg-Lyon Volunteer Fire Department Board, Sam has overseen critical advancements in public safety.  One of the most meaningful improvements was helping organize and establish a heliport pad at the fire department, giving first responders faster access to emergency air transport when every second counts.  For Sam, leadership means taking decisive action that delivers real, measurable benefits to the people he serves--especially in areas with limited access to critical resources.

Sam's record reflects what he believes: leadership should always be rooted in responsibility, transparency, and protecting the well-being of the community.

His commitment to service runs deeper than elected office.  Sam has pledged to donate his salary back to Trigg County, ensuring those funds support local needs and community projects.  It's a clear demonstration of his belief in service over self-interest.

Sam also believes strongly in accountability when it comes to taxpayer dollars.  No tax increase should ever be decided by a select few.  If elected Judge Executive, Sam will ensure every proposed tax increase is brought directly to the people for a vote.  Your money should never be handled behind closed doors -- it should always be guided by the citizens it affects.

With proven leadership experience, a lifetime of service, and a steadfast commitment to transparency, Sam Carter is ready to lead Trigg County with the honesty, practicality, and dedication our community deserves.

A leader who gets things done.  A voice for the people.  A commitment to what truly matters.
